The reality which we have been given in the media and politics is highly manipulated and has almost nothing to do with the truth. There are most likely as many levels of waking state as there are individuals who have experienced them. Though the combinations of sensations and realizations is fairly similar from person to person, the individual experiences can be highly specific. Whatever the definition, it seems that so many people are discovering and discussing this process awakening. But how does one reach this conscious level of waking state, and how can this process affect us for the better?
The Frequency of Consciousness
The theories of mainstream science tell us that there are five different levels of consciousness, or more specifically, five different types of brainwave frequencies which are associated with those levels of consciousness. Gamma Waves
These are involved in higher processing tasks as well as cognitive functioning. Gamma waves are important for learning, memory and information processing. It is thought that the 40 Hz gamma wave is important for the binding of our senses in regards to perception and are involved in learning new material. It has been found that individuals who are mentally challenged and have learning disabilities tend to have lower gamma activity than average.
