Guidance On How To Cross The Finish Line With Grace And Ease, June 9, 2016 by Reiki Doc You are not incarnate forever.
One day the Veil shall be lifted. You will understand ALL, and I mean EVERYTHING.
The Veil, uncomfortable as it is, has a purpose: to help you to get to know yourself better than you would if you were NOT incarnate!
The secret of how to make the most of this is to take your Life Lessons for what they are–opportunities to awaken more and more of yourself.
I call this approach to DIG. I discovered it with Byron Katie. I was absolutely miserable when Anthony was newborn. His father had left me at four month’s gestation. Now he was back, but not for me–only for our son. I was falling apart. I bought something from one of my two favorite catalogs, I forget which one–either Isabella, or FeminineCreations. As I called in my order, the lady on the other end of the line was moved after she heard my sad story. ‘Have you ever heard of the work?’ she asked. I hadn’t. She sent me the Byron Katie book for free.
It saved my life.
Byron Katie ‘turns it around’. When I was going over and over in my mind how rotten Jared was for leaving me, and how he SHOULDN’T have left me–to apply her technique I would take it just the opposite. He SHOULD leave me. Then you explore the feelings, and you grow.
It’s incredibly liberating.
The reason I call it ‘DIG’ is because of my training in ballet. It’s my love, and I adore it. I have passion for dance, although you’d never guess by looking at me now. But in ballet, you stretch, you need your flexibility. And you push just a little bit more, when you are at your limit–and that last ‘DIG’ just when you can’t take it any more…is how you get improvement. When you think you can’t jump another jump and you do, it builds strength, endurance, and muscle memory. When you think you can’t possibly stretch any further, but you relax and breathe through it–you get that stretch, your line improves, and you can do the splits.
In Spiritual Life, while we are on Earth especially, we have opportunity to build our Spiritual muscles in our heart…through forgiveness, through acceptance, through love. This applies to all living things, to ourself and to others.
Mother Teresa used to say, when people confided to her their problems, ‘It is a gift’.
It really is. When you look at it through Spirit eyes.
Think about it. While incarnate on Earth, EVERYTHING in one way or another is a problem. The stapler gets stuck and you have to whack it on the side for it to disengage so you can do the next staple. Sometimes you have to even open it! When you come home late at night post-call, and want to rest, the freeway exit to your house is closed, and you must go to the next one. Your body you live in has an expiration date like a carton of milk, and you AGE! You can’t do the things you used to do, and you have to compensate and accept and grow. My friend the cardiac surgeon called to me across the parking lot on Tuesday. I had just had a massage, and he had finished the gym. He was once an olympic athlete. And he said, ‘I can’t do what I used to’. We talked about how our eyes don’t work, we need glasses, and how we couldn’t believe it when it happened –him at forty-five, me at fifty.
There is so much opportunity to learn.
An open heart is the easiest way to master your Life Lessons.
You aren’t incarnate forever. One day this learning opportunity (I think it’s a way to really level up on the karma scale and boost your ‘station’ in the afterlife after being incarnate here on Earth) will be over. Another one will take its place, but it won’t be like here. This is the fastest growth around, literally! Once Duality is ended, and Time stands still, the format of Earth Academy is probably going to change.
We are SO VERY VERY VERY VERY close to the finish line–to be upgraded to 5D!
So next time something really gets to you, go ahead, lean right in, and take a look at yourself. WHY is this bothering you? Is it showing you a side of yourself you never knew you had, and were unwilling to acknowledge? Is it helping you have compassion for others? Is it perhaps something you are enduring so you may guide others who are in the same situation as you?
The possibilities are endless! So are your choices on how to navigate them!
There are no mistakes! Only Lessons! And you have all the time in the world to master them.
It’s worth it!
So next time, think very hard about your goals, and when you face your challenges–DIG!

7 Secrets To Knowing Your Higher Self
The Higher Self within us far transcends the understanding of our conscious minds. Each of us is connected with the Divine. This is the power that all the great geniuses and teachers of history have accessed. It is also the place of magic and miracle in our lives. Here are the seven key steps to contact it:
1. Belief & Expectation: Transform Your World View!
The first step is to BELIEVE that you have a Higher Self to establish communication with! Then EXPECT every day that this communication will improve as you focus diligently on inner growth.
Without these two essential pre-requisites, it is hard to achieve anything at all in life, even on the physical level.
For inner growth, these two qualities are essential. So set a GOAL to achieve contact with the Higher Self, review that goal daily, and maintain your purpose with determination until success is yours.
We are brought up with a primarily materialistic world view that neglects the role of Spirit. To establish close contact with spiritual realms, we need to have our entire being — conscious and subconscious — congruent with our goal.
In any major activity/goal, you have to establish the rules of the game and the way it is played. Contacting your Higher Self is the same.
Therefore, seek out writings and teachers that expand your understanding of the universe as fundamentally being a realm of Consciousness and Mind.
2. Solitude & Meditation
Make regular time for yourself where you can be totally alone. A quiet place is preferable. Just sit quietly with no expectations. Do NOTHING. This may feel very uncomfortable and strange in the beginning. Persist.
You give time and space for the inner voice to make itself heard. It will do so either during that quiet time, or else during the events of the day.
A synchronistic event will occur; someone will tell you exactly what you need to hear; you will get a sudden flash of insight.
All the great geniuses of history have found times of regular solitude and silence for themselves. You should too.
In meditation, you work to discipline your mind and silence the internal chatter that constantly fill it.
You create a pure vessel for the Higher Self to fill. Following your breath is an excellent meditation discipline, as is concentrating upon a candle flame.
Or visualize a golden ball of light in your Solar Plexus that fills your whole body with energy and healing. There are many practices that you can study and use.
3. Journal
Record your feelings, emotions, dreams and insights every day in a journal. This will help you to come into closer contact with your inner intuitive depths.
You can ask the Higher Self questions here, and then later on record whatever insights/answers you receive. If you do this regularly with belief and expectation, you WILL receive the answers you need.
4. Inner Dialogue
Conduct a regular inner dialogue with your Higher Self. For the next 40 days, decide to keep in contact throughout the day.
Say to your Higher Self:
“I know you are there and I want to get to know you and pay attention to you. Please begin to speak to me and guide my life.”
Don’t worry if this dialogue is entirely one-way to begin with. Remember that you have been out of touch for decades.
It takes a while to clear the cobwebs! Persist with this inner dialogue as if talking to a friend – chatting, asking questions, sharing your hopes – and begin to listen for answers. They will come.
5. Life Lessons
Look upon life as a Mystery School. Believe that the whole of your life — events, situations and people — has been structured PRECISELY in order to teach you exactly what you need to know right now. Approach life as if the whole of creation is conspiring to do you good!
Whenever something happens in your life, for good or ill, ask yourself what the lesson is for you. Even unpleasant people/situations have been deliberately placed there as a challenge to help you grow.
As you begin to view life as a drama in which you are play the starring role, the role of the Higher Self will become increasingly evident in your life. Record your findings in your journal.

6. Dreams
Expect your Higher Self to speak to you in dreams. Before going to sleep, do some stretching and bending to relax your body completely.
Ask your Higher Self a question and expect an answer. When you wake up, recall whatever you can of your dream and write it down in your journal.
If you are not used to remembering dreams, this will take time and persistence. However, with patience, you will begin to recall your dreams AND receive answers from your Higher Self.
7. Mindfulness
Focus upon living more and more in the present, on the NOW. When you are eating, be aware that you are eating.
When you walk, know that you are walking. The only real moment is now – the past is gone forever and the future has yet to be.
Therefore, work to clear your mind of concerns, illusions and extrapolations. Clear the mental clutter from the mind and create space for the Higher Self to fill.
Patience Is The Catalyst To Progress!
Remember, you may have spent your entire life out of touch with Source. Therefore, it takes time to learn how to re-establish contact.
Anything worth doing takes time and practice. Be vigilant and practice these seven steps every day, and you will receive the answers you need.
Remember: The Higher Self WANTS to be in contact. In fact, to even speak of it as someone apart from you is contradictory. The Higher Self IS you! The real you. So get in touch with YOU!

* Merge with your future self. (We came from the future to change this now moment.)
* Practice discernment to the fullest. (Use the I AM presence to help with discernment.
* Listen to the physical body and pay attention to its reactions to situations.)
* Keep in mind that all that is happening is a part of creating our new earth.
* Focus on staying grounded, balanced and centered.
* Listen deeply within.
* Get lots of rest. (We are working very hard in the dream state to prepare for what is coming.)
* Maintain a positive attitude about what is occurring.
* Help each other.
* Be with like-minded people.
* Pay attention to your energy. If it is being drained by others or certain situations make some new choices.
* Drink lots of water.
* Eat healthy food.
* Do whatever you can to raise your vibration.
* Stay in your own power and don’t give it away to anyone.
* Release any fears that might pop up. These are old 3D programs that are no longer applicable.
* Get out in nature and exercise.
* Be as removed as possible from mainstream media.
* Be wary of some of the information on the Internet. There are dark forces that are trying to disrupt the ascension process.
* Trust in the process. Know that the old is imploding upon itself and we get to watch it go.
* Be gentle with yourself and others. They are all going through their issues. Compassion for self and others will make it easier.
* Keep creating and feeling into what our lives will be like living in the fifth dimension.
* Create beauty and see beauty every day.

I didn’t realize my true potential at the time, but later would discover that quantum consciousness and the law of attraction are interconnected like we are. The deeper I would dive into A Course in Miracles and its series of abstractions, a part of me had long ago already decided to begin unlocking my true potential in union with the quantum consciousness of non-judgement.
In book 1 of the series you’ll see that…By cooperating without my ego-based mind in particular efforts, I was seeing myself as both helpful and harmless to the world, which are attributes of the law of attraction that must work together and sensing true potential. But the effort was actually effortless.
