We’re excited you are fueling the movement in your community. Here are your steps to getting started:
First, start planning.
o Begin by reading our Event Design Guide to make sure your event drives impact for girls everywhere.
o Check out all the resources in the IDG Tool Kit. You’ll find videos, invitations templates, discussion guides, and much more.
Then, brainstorm what you can do. Here are a few ideas:
o Host a screening of Girl Rising, and lead a discussion after about creating local change.
o Organize a local fundraiser in your community.
o Get creative. Do something that you know will ignite the movement and get people talking.
We look forward to celebrating with you soon. Do reach out with questions or ideas anytime.
