We need first to understand that the human form-including human desire and all its external representations-may be changing radically, and thus must be re-visioned. We need to understand that five hundred years ofhumanism may be coming to an end as humanism transfonns itself into something that we must helplessly call post-humanism.

Etwas bemerkenswertes ist passiert. Die New York Times, die einfluss- reichste Zeitung der USA, hat auf ihrer Titelseite vom Donnerstag ein Foto veröffentlicht, dass möglicherweise den Angriff auf Syrien verhindern wird. Es zeigt wie sieben Soldaten der syrischen Armee die von den Terroristen gefangen wurden am Boden knien, die Hände nach hinten gefesselt haben und auf ihre Exekution warten. Alle haben fürchterliche Wunden auf dem Rücken und an den Armen. Hinter ihnen stehen genau die, welche die USA mit Waffen versorgt und unterstützt. Nach dem der Anführer Abdul Samad Issa ein Gedicht vorliest, werden alle Gefangenen mit Kopfschüssen ermordet. Danach werden die Leichen in ein Loch geschmissen.
