    Posted on August 11, 2013 by Ann Kreilkamp Meanwhile, what do we do here, in our own bodies, working with others, family, neighbors, friends, listening to the birds, the cicadas, the frogs, feeling the tickle of green under our bare feet, the warmth of the sun as it rises and pushes tendrils of cool air wafting around our bare arms, faces, lifting the hair on our necks, not in fear, but in wonder? For there is the endlessly proliferating world of “conspiracy theories” of all kinds, seeking to connect infinities of blinking dots into some kind of multilayered complex web that “makes good clear sense of the whole” — an impossible task, and unnecessary, perhaps, if we but RE-MEMEBER WHO WE ARE as one species trying to reconnect with the overflowing abundance and nourishment of this impossibly beautiful, living, conscious, and very VERY PATIENT planet that, despite our best efforts TO POISON HER, continues to mercifully shelter us.
